Upgrading to the Coherence Plus Sensor How to Avoid Double Billing

Overview

If you initially subscribed to the HeartMath App through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and you are now purchasing the Inner Balance Coherence Plus Sensor, you must manually manage your billing to avoid paying twice.

The Inner Balance Coherence Plus Sensor activates the app by unlocking a Free Lifetime Subscription. However, because Apple and Google manage their own payment ecosystems, HeartMath cannot automatically cancel your old app store subscription for you.

The Transition Process

1. Turn off App Store Auto-Renew

To prevent a double charge, you must manually cancel your mobile subscription so it does not renew.

  • Apple (iOS): Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > HeartMath > Cancel.

  • Google (Android): Open the Play Store > Tap your Profile Icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > HeartMath > Cancel.

2. Purchase Your Sensor

You can now safely purchase your Inner Balance Coherence Plus Sensor from the HeartMath website.

3. Unlock Your Free Lifetime Subscription

Once your sensor arrives, you will use it to unlock your lifetime access:

  • CRITICAL STEP: Open the app and log in using your existing HeartCloud email address and password. Do not create a new account, or your past session data and history will not transfer over.

  • Pair your new Coherence Plus sensor with the app.

  • The app will recognize the sensor and automatically upgrade your account to the Free Lifetime Subscription.
