Trends & Insights: seeing change in your Stress, Energy and Mood

This is the part of release 4.5 we're most excited for you to find. For the first time, you can see before-and-after trends for your Mood, Energy and Stress sitting right alongside your coherence — two kinds of change, side by side: what your physiology is doing, and how you actually feel.

Where the data comes from

Your Stress, Energy and Mood insights are captured from the short check-in surveys you complete before and after a coherence session. We combine those with your session data to produce the insights.

You'll see each metric's percentage change along with weekly bars. Detailed Trends lets you explore by week, month or year.

What the colours mean

Colour

Meaning

Green

Improving. The session helped — your Energy or Mood went up, or your Stress came down.

Blue

No change. Things stayed about even. A very small bar means the same thing.

Orange

Declining. The session didn't move that metric in a helpful direction this time.

IF YOU'RE SEEING BLUE OR ORANGE

Staying even is completely normal, especially early on, and a single orange session isn't a verdict on your practice. The benefit of coherence practice is cumulative — the trend across weeks is what to watch, not any one session.

Why you might not see Stress, Energy and Mood trends yet

These insights depend on the optional check-ins before and after your sessions:

If…

You'll see…

Check-ins are turned off

Your coherence trends, with a gentle prompt to enable check-ins.

Check-ins are on, but you haven't completed any yet

The metrics listed with an Improving / Declining / No-change legend, until your data comes in.

You paused check-ins

Your previous trends, kept safely — you can revisit them any time.

The "positive shift" on your Session Results

After each session, your results include a short reflection on what the session supported — calm and ease, perhaps, or reconnecting with balance.

It's drawn from your own session results and check-in responses, alongside your average coherence, points, session length, heart-rate variability and coherence over time. It's a reflection of that session specifically, not a generic message.
