Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open Finder
    Click the smiley face icon in your Dock to open Finder.

  2. Go to Your Home Folder

    • Use the menu: Go → Home

    • Or press Shift + Command + H.

  3. Create a Local Storage Folder

    • In your Home directory, right-click an empty space.

    • Select "New Folder" and name it LocalFiles.

  4. Move the emWave Folder

    • Navigate to Users/your-username/Documents.

    • Locate the emWave folder.

    • Drag and drop it into Users/your-username/LocalFiles.

  5. Delete the Original Folder from Documents

    • In Documents, right-click the now-empty emWave folder.

    • Choose Move to Trash.

  6. Open Terminal

    • Press Command + Space to open Spotlight.

    • Type Terminal and press Enter.

  7. Create a Symbolic Link

    • In Terminal, copy and paste:
