Coherence Points, Daily Points and the HeartMath community
Each time your coherence score updates during a session, it generates Coherence Points.
For example: if your first coherence score is 2.0 and your second is 3.0, you've generated 2.0 + 3.0 = 5.0 Coherence Points so far. They accumulate through your session and are added to your lifetime total.

SETTING A DAILY OBJECTIVE Some people like to aim for a specific number of Coherence Points each day. When first beginning, around 300 Coherence Points a day is a comfortable place to start — and you can increase it over time as it feels right to you. |

Daily Points and the Community numberDaily Points connect your own practice to the wider HeartMath community:
- Community represents the cumulative contributions of all HeartMath customers.
- My Contributions is what you've personally contributed today.
Each session helps your body remember safety, balance and recovery — and adds to the community total at the same time.
What happened to Streaks? This part of the app used to be called Streaks. We've moved away from streak-based pressure toward a community contribution model instead.
The reasoning is simple: a practice that misses a day isn't a practice that failed. Coming back gently after time away is part of the practice, not a break in it — and we'd rather your practice be sustained by rhythm than by not wanting to lose a number.
