Coherence Plus Sensor Charging and Battery Guidelines
This article provides steps to troubleshoot charging or battery issues with the Bluetooth Sensor pod and Ear Sensor.
Charging Guidelines
-
Always charge the Bluetooth Sensor pod for at least 2 hours before first use.
-
Use a wall plug adapter for charging. Charging from a computer or laptop USB port may not provide adequate power.
-
Use a high-quality USB-C cable. If the device does not charge properly, try another cable to rule out a faulty connection.
-
Ensure that the charging cable is securely connected to the device.
-
During charging, you may disconnect and reconnect the charging cable once or twice to help initiate the charge cycle.
Troubleshooting Steps
If the device is not charging or not holding a charge, follow these steps:
-
Unplug the Ear Sensor from the Bluetooth Sensor pod.
-
Connect the Bluetooth Sensor pod to power using a wall plug and allow it to charge for approximately 2 hours.
-
Try a different USB-C cable if you suspect the current one may be faulty.
-
Once charged, disconnect the charging cable.
-
Reattach the Ear Sensor to the Bluetooth Sensor pod.
-
Turn on the device and try running a session again to confirm successful charging.
Notes
-
If the device does not power on after performing the above steps, check the charging port for debris or damage.
-
Avoid using third-party fast chargers as they may supply incompatible voltage.
-
Contact customer support if the device still fails to charge or hold power after following all steps.
