HeartMath is a global leader in emotional self-regulation and stress management. Since 1991, we have provided practical, scientifically validated methods to help people transform stress into resilience and harness the power of heart-brain communication.

Our Mission: A Fundamental Shift

The HeartMath mission is to facilitate a fundamental shift in health, well-being, and consciousness. We follow a “triple bottom line” approach—focusing on people, planet, and profit. Founded by Doc Childre, our goal is to create "shared value" by addressing societal needs through scalable methods and technologies.

The Three Pillars of HeartMath

1. HeartMath, Inc. This is the operating company dedicated to bringing HeartMath products and services to the world.

  • Usage: Our programs are used by Fortune 100 companies, government agencies, healthcare institutions, and tens of thousands of individuals.

  • Impact: We help organizations improve employee retention and productivity while helping health professionals address conditions like anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

  • Giving Back: HeartMath, Inc. gives 5% of its revenue to the HeartMath Institute to support underserved communities, veterans, and teachers.

2. Quantum Intech, Inc. (Parent Company) Incorporated in 2002, Quantum Intech (QI) is the technology and licensing arm.

  • Innovation: QI owns the patents for the award-winning emWave® technology and holds the worldwide exclusive license for HeartMath intellectual property.

  • Emotion-Regulated Technology: QI develops products that allow users to monitor and control their heart rhythms (Heart Rate Variability - HRV) to rebalance their physiological and emotional states.

3. HeartMath Institute (HMI) The HeartMath Institute is an internationally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit research and education organization.

  • Research: HMI conducts dozens of peer-reviewed studies on neurocardiology and global coherence.

  • Education: Its mission is to help people bring their physical, mental, and emotional systems into balanced alignment with their heart’s intuitive guidance.
